Jari Tarjasalo

Jari Tarjasalo started his guitar studies in Lappeenranta Music Institute and continued his studies in Jyväskylä Conservatory with Stepan Rakin as his teatcher. After that he studied in Sibelius Academy, where his teachers were Pekka Vesanen and Seppo Siirala. After his Bachelor's Degree in Music and debut concert in 1987 Jari Tarjasalo has continued his studies in Barcelona with William Waters and in many master classes. He has performed regularly both as a soloist and a chamber musician in Finland, France, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands. Jari Tarjasalo has also made recordings for YLE Radio Finland since 1985 and has published three albums. He works currently as a guitar teacher in Itä-Helsinki Music Institute.
