Million Marks is located in Joensuu, Finland but travels throughout Europe and Russia to bring the ground breaking sounds of our intricate blend of rock, funk and hip-hop to crowds that crave the music that makes them move.

Headlining events such as the St. Petersburg Tattoo Festival (Russia) and Joen Yö (Finland) prove that we bring the heat every time we meet. Performing shows at festivals such as Popkatu and Kronfest have paved the way for the opportunity to sign with Pilfink Records to produce our first upcoming album Complex Simplicity, which will be released in the fall of 2011. The first single release, Bathroom Love creates an entrance to the soul of our music and sound, and is already bringing together listeners from multiple genres and formats.

Our cast of characters are as diverse as it gets. The front man D-Willy hails from Florida, USA. He was raised singing gospel choir and has a range of influences from hip-hop, classic rock, funk, soul and blues. His eclectic, authentic southern style gives an original flavor that can not be duplicated or imitated. The guitarist Santeri Endman has spent a long career in music as a guitarist and producer, and he has played in a number of bands that spread the spectrum of genres including heavy metal, jazz, rock and classical. Our piano player Tu Tu is probably the most accomplished musician in the bunch. He is well known for his amazing ability to fit any format, and has played everything from jazz, classical, rock, funk, soul and blues, to hip-hop and fusion. He is currently under several recording contracts, and will be featured on four different albums this year. He is the chameleon of the piano. Bob Thailand is an anomaly. Although his name seems pornographic, he makes pure love to his bass guitar. He has also played a wide range of music including rock, funk, soul, and has extensively studied folk music. His blend of music and his writing ability create an exceptional mix of experience and attitude that bring his talents to the forefront. Lastly, our man anchoring the band is a highly trained and well seasoned performer, drummer J-Po. As with everyone else, J-Po has been involved in music from a ton of different angles and genres. He has played with pop, rock, blues, funk and brass bands, which is probably why he is able to bring such special backbeat moments to everything we do.
Million Marks is at the forefront of our existence, but we are veterans at every level. Making music is what we do and who we are. Our upcoming album will prove to be a monumental moment in music throughout Finland and Europe, and will forever change the possibilities for those looking to create and mix new styles and sounds.
